Notice to citizens:
Because there was not an open pipe (main break) in the district, and the distribution system remained charged above 20 psi, no boil water notice is needed.
As a precaution, we are taking additional bacteriological samples of the distribution system.
Also, due to inclement winter weather, Brookshire Municipal Water District will be closed Thursday, February 18, 2021. Please stay warm and safe.
